New Excess Model! ▫️ One of the big announcements at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival was from @EXCESSCatamarans who announced a new addition to their range of sailing yachts in 2024. The new catamaran will slot in between the Excess 11 and Excess 14. ▫️ Helping them on the next stage of the brand's journey will be Lombard Design (MLYDG) – in charge of the naval architecture and Jean Marc Piaton who will design the interiors. ▫️ We are looking forward to seeing the design in more detail in early 2024! We finally got our new Reckmann Furler fixed. After three weeks of having it, the furler stopped working. Aaron from Clarity Marine in Grenada discovered that inside the motor, the fastener for the wires was never tightened and the wires pulled out. Problem solved and we’re sailing with ease once again! En esta condición, debemos abrir bien las velas y darles potencia. Atrasar carros de escota de génova, lascar el pajarín, drizas, cunningham... Es un rumbo en el que las lanillas de génova ya no funcionan y ya va a haber que usar la intuición. Si lo acompañas de un día con mar de fondo, día completo de trimado de las velas.
