Learn how to tie the Double Fishermans knot in a matter of seconds. The Double Fishermans knot is a great knot for joining two ropes of equal diameter. The additional turns in the main part of the knot provide some benefits over the single Fishermans knot, making it more secure when not under load while making it easier to undo after it has been under load. The additional loops in the double fishermans knot does result in a larger knot, if this create and issue then revert to the standard or single Fishermans knot. To learn how to do the single Fishermans knot in another one of our Know Knots video, click the link below to learn more. https://youtu.be/AvFgCYWvqyg Thanks for stopping by and watching Bottom Up Boats latest Know Knots video we would love to hear your feedback on our Double Fishermans knot video.
