► The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is undoubtedly the most glamorous, immersive, and unmissable boating event in the southern hemisphere. Held from May 22 to 25, the show brought together more than 330 exhibitors, nearly 760 boats, and over 2,500 marine products and types of equipment. Sue shows one of the two pantry options. The pantry is located just down the stairs on the port side. This option, which is the one we have elected for, consists of pull out drawers on soft close, undermount slides. Note the bottom opening will likely change to just an opening, allow for larger items to fit in there better. We will give a tour when our boat is compete so you can see how it turned out. The other option is one large door and deep shelves internally. For us, we believe having the pull out drawers will allow us an easier time organizing and finding things.

There was plenty of close racing in the 2023 Narrows series on Strangford Lough. With the breeze moderating after the Bar Buoy race was cancelled and Saturday's big blow things were a lot calmer in the back half of the regatta. J109 Going to Red slipped behind a Glenn that was beating to windward as they slid there way toward the mouth of the narrows in the final race of the series. The Glen class is one of Alfred Mylne classic designs, it is always great sight to see them gliding by you on as you race on Strangford lough. We are extremely luck to have over a dozen of them racing regularly out of Strangford Lough Yacht club (SLYC). The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the sort bits of our close crosses from the 2023 season.
