The 80 Sunreef Power Eco, the first model on order from the Gdansk Shipyard, promises silent, non-polluting cruising and infinite range. Sunreef’s plan is to reconcile yachting and ecology: by operating a vast multiyacht platform, the builder has succeeded in installing 2150 sq ft (200 m²) of light and ultramodern solar panels - producing up to 36 kWp of electricity. The 80 Sunreef Power Eco will also be equipped with a high-tech battery bank: 30% lighter than the batteries used in the yachting industry, with a density of less than 13 lbs (6 kg) / kWh with greater efficiency and performance. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
