The founder was Henri Jeanneau, a hardware store owner, who began by producing power boats. Jeanneau specializes in monohulls, but it created a specialist multihull line, Lagoon catamarans. Downpour on mooring during our first full day as sailboat owners. Happy with our canopy though... and the bottle of wine the previous owner left. This is definitely what you want to do during a humid rainstorm aboard:)
