Giorno 20 - SICILIA (ancora) I giorni fermi in porto stanno per saturare le dita di una mano e questo può voler dire una cosa sola: trepidazione. Quando partiamo? Mi accorgo che desidero ripartire perché le docce della marina, luoghi dove solitamente i diportisti trascorrono fugaci momenti del loro soggiorno, ai miei occhi non hanno più segreti e ormai le conosco così bene che posso scegliere in quale andare, a seconda di quanta acqua calda voglio. Iniziamo a sentirci fuori posto qui, come i miei piedi dentro alle crocs di Andrea. Come il sacchetto in acqua. Comodi ma nel posto sbagliato. Non fraintendeteci, restare in porto è stata una nostra scelta e lo spirito di questo viaggio è proprio di accogliere ciò che arriva, che sia tempesta, che sia bonaccia. Per fortuna questa sera il vento ci dà un po’ di tregua, così ne approfittiamo per fare quella grigliatina che pregustiamo da giorni. ❤️ Se tutto va per il verso giusto, domani dovremmo rimetterci in viaggio verso Trapani, dove tra qualche giorno verrà a trovarci un caro amico. We've done one or two of these before in different places. You just let others know it's happening and go sit out in the anchorage for people to show up. Bring snacks and drinks and hang out. We learned a couple of things: There is good snorkeling/diving on the other end of the anchorage. There is a boat here that converted their engines to full electric and we can go visit it to hear what they did. And we got a ton of information on places we might sail to next year including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Put one together, always a good time!
