Eigentlich starten wir freitags ab 17 Uhr direkt mit dem Training. Aber gute Seemannschaft heißt auch: Bedingungen realistisch einschätzen. Wenn das Deck verschneit und spiegelglatt ist, wird’s unnötig gefährlich – also passen wir das Training an und nutzen die Zeit an Bord für alles, was drinnen sinnvoll ist (z. B. Went to Jetty Park Beach today to see if we thought the washed out beach might be worth taking our metal detector to search for treasures. The beach erosion was more than we thought but I believe we will plan a trip back with the detector. never know what kind of treasures you might find!
