We worked with Outremer in France (with the help of Google Translate) to launch our boat project and start our journey as sailing vagabonds. While it’s not a race or speed test, we are doing our first Bluewater crossing this year and we are excited to see AWEN stretch her legs and dance on the water. Share your thoughts below. ⚓️ =========================== Transcript Exactly why we go on about not doing hitches. I've just come up to this, it's very tight and someone's gone around and done a hitch straight away. Now if you had of done a couple of turns and things before you did this cleat hitch maybe that would help but right now that is rock solid and it's really hard to get off especially in an emergency. So I'm gonna have to roll it. It's just not what I call efficient. Had it been like that and then like that and then you put your cleat hitch on fine.
