Una giornata di navigazione. Era parecchio che non coprivamo 84 miglia di fila in una giornata sola. Questa mattina ci siamo svegliati alle 3:40, abbiamo tirato su l’ancora e ci siamo messi in marcia. Ci aspettano parecchie miglia e pare pure senza vento. Ben presto scopriamo che non è solo un’impressione, ma è proprio una giornata di calma piatta. Non proviamo nemmeno ad aprire le vele perché sarebbero come panni stesi al sole in un giorno torrido d’estate: cadenti e fermi. La pesca ci regala ben 2 PESCIONI!! Peccato fossero due barracuda e come vi abbiamo spiegato, qui ai Caraibi non è così sicuro mangiarli vista la cigutera. Li ributtiamo entrambi in acqua e li guardiamo nuotare via vispi. Meno male, almeno non abbiamo mietuto vittime inutili. La pesca è un tema abbastanza delicato per noi. Sì se per mangiare, no se per giocare. Julia corre, i suoi pistoni tornano a salire e scendere veloci generando una velocità al suolo di 6,4 nodi. Navighiamo solitamente a 1500 giri per non affaticare il motore. Oggi, non è diverso :) 1500 giri, 6,4 nodi di avanzamento. Prua su Saint Martin, isola in cui, udite udite, ci aspettano Chris e Maria, i nostri amici canadesi! Il destino ha voluto che ci salutassimo ancora, un’ultima volta. Prepariamoci ai saluti, quelli veri 🥹 Comunque, tutto da programma. Avanti che mancano ancora un po’ di miglia. Ci leggiamo domani!
