WhitsundayEscape.com This group of young French travellers chose to explore the Whitsunday islands by hiring their own boat and skippering it themselves. They got to decide their own itinerary, choosing where they went and how long they stayed. They encountered all kinds of Australian wildlife and marine life, and really enjoyed swimming with turtles, and watching dolphins frolicking around the boat. Sunset sea views are one of our absolute favourite things about cruising, and a real plus for choosing a balcony cabin. But even when we are sailing with an ocean/sea view or even in an inside cabin we do everything we can to drink in those end of the day rays while relaxing on deck or in a bar/lounge.
