This optional excursion combines walking, hiking, swimming, and canyoneering in a spectacular location; the Cetina Valley, located near Omis on the mainland of Croatia. This impressive river and valley are home to many adrenaline-inducing activities, including river rafting, zip-lining and of course, canyoning! Cliffs in the Canyon can reach up to 180 meters high, where you can enjoy amazing views out over the valley, jump from rocks into splash pools below and canyon down the river with your body! As the Vinson prepares to set sail back to South Georgia, here at KM Yachtbuilders we just turned the hull of her future sister boat. Most aluminum boats are built upside down to facilitate welding. Turning the hull up is a significant milestone: It is the equator of the building process and, once straightened, not only starts to look like a real boat but opens the door to further work. The vessel gradually comes to life. Skip Novak was there for such a special moment.
