Once in a while, you should leave the water and explore the mountains! When we sailed along the Costa del Sol, we saw the mountains on the coastline becoming higher and higher. The Sierra Nevada in the South Spain means 'snowy mountain range' in Spanish. From our catamaran we saw the snowy peaks in the distance. In the harbor of Almerimar we rented a car for a day and had an amazing trip through the Sierra Nevada. A lot of sunshine, little white villages and always a view on the water as well. After the Alps, this is the highest mountain range in Europe, with a total of 16 peaks above 3000 meters.

I grew up wakeboarding and absolutely love it, behind a boat and at the cable park. The last time I did any wakeboarding at all was in Croatia in 2022, so safe to say it's been a while! Recently I got a chance to wakeboard again thanks to @HQ2Charters whose tender is powerful enough to have a good time out on the water.
