But don't bother looking in the options catalog of the La Rochelle-based trimaran shipyard: This “repower” was undertaken by Emeraude Multicoques, the Marseille-based dealer for the Ebro Delta (Spain) brand, which has also become the integrator of the hybrid formula for all Neel boats (new or used) and even other models on request. The installation is particularly neat and is obviously guaranteed by Emeraude Multicoques. It includes a 25-kWh battery and a 25-kW motor powered by 96 V. The range at 6 knots is approximately 10 hours. There are few changes to the hulls, which have been slightly lengthened, but the deck layout and interior design are completely new. Aboard the Eighty 2, which we have just been taking an exclusive look at in Bordeaux, we find the famous opening in the hull topsides as first seen on the Seventy 7 - it acts as a terrace on the water in the Owner’s suite. Despite being proportionately narrower in beam than the Sixty, for example, the deck offers a flybridge of some 540 square feet (50 m²) that can be fitted out as desired, while aft, the platform connecting the sugarscoops covers 236 sq ft (22 m²)...
