Much like the LMF 33 LC, the 28′ Landing Craft was built for commercial purposes. The Aluminum hull and drop down bow door, allow for easy beaching on less than desirable coastlines. The 28′ was built for the Anderson County fire department in South Carolina, so this boat had a built in water tank and pump so a hose can be connected for fire fighting operations. Being a custom boatbuilder, Lyman-Morse will be able to customize future orders to fit the exact needs of the buyers. Whether you are looking for a more commercial use boat or something simple to get your equipment out to your private island, the LMF 28 LC is the boat that can do it all. This vessel was equipped with twin Yamaha 250’s which allows for cruise speeds in the mid 30’s and 46+ knots WOT. #boatbuilding #maine #aluminumboats

Episode 12 out now! 🌊 🎥 Sailing Sardinia to Tunisia to close out our very first season. https://youtu.be/CQzsAhNT9K4?si=BQbaY0-C5STt0-ne After two weeks of solo sailing down Sardinia’s rugged west coast, Sam reunites with Vika in Cagliari for one last taste of Italy before we check Kaia — our Lagoon 440 catamaran — out of Europe and make our way to Tunisia, Africa! With our three sailing dogs back onboard, we set off on our longest passage yet: 40 hours across the Mediterranean, two nights at sea, fiery sunsets, star-filled skies, and the steady rhythm of open water carrying us towards a brand new continent. Halfway along the Tunisian coast, we tried to drop anchor for a short rest — only to be told by the coastguard that anchoring wasn’t allowed. Tired but determined, we pushed on through a second night passage before finally reaching Monastir Marina. At last, Kaia is safely tied up in her new winter berth in Tunisia, where we begin life as full-time liveaboards in North Africa. Season One of Sailing Sacred Seas may be over, but this is only the beginning — the adventure continues from our new home in Tunisia!
