We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). The BGM75, from BlueGame, is a new luxury motor yacht from the Italian manufacturer. M stands for multihull, but this is a catamaran with a difference: the ratio between beam and length is closer to a monohull. ▫️ ➡️ Renders from Blue Game Yachts ▫️ She is first and foremost a luxurious, motor yacht that has two hulls, not one, but from some angles you wouldn't realise. This has allowed the designers to configure the area between the two hulls as a single space like a monohull allowing for a huge full beam owner’s cabin. ▫️ From the stern, she looks like an elegant and balanced monohull and the space between the two hulls conceals a garage for the tender. The reduced beam allows the BGM75 to be moored up between monohulls. ▫️ They estimate between a 23 and 38% fuel saving compared to a 90ft displacement power monohull with comparable living space. ▫️ BlueGame will be exhibiting at the Cannes Yachting Festival. ▫??
