How can you save fuel at sea? These tips work not only on the Absolute 56 Fly, but on any yacht. Set your liters per mile on the instrument, adjust your speed, and fine-tune flaps or interceptors to find the optimal fuel consumption. ⚡ This reduces engine strain and keeps your ride smooth. Try these adjustments at different speeds – sometimes going faster can actually lower fuel use! It all depends on your yacht and how your trim devices are set. Proper adjustment can even help you reach maximum speed efficiently. How do you manage fuel on your yacht? On Saturday 1st February, Comanche Raider III crew members Ramon Sant Hill, Daniel Bartolo and Mark Muscat joined the Serious Fun crew. Owned by Jan Versteeg and Sally Jackson, this was this boat’s first foray in the Club’s event. Joining there were Kurt Camilleri and Paul Masters who all found this cruise to be an excellent opportunity to get into the RMYC Sailing scene and are looking forward to the next event.
