South Georgia feels like stepping inside a wildlife documentary. In the South Atlantic Ocean, it’s free from sea ice and a rich breeding site for millions of penguins, seabirds, and seals. Nowhere else on Earth will you find king penguins, fur seals, or elephant seals in such vast numbers. That is the question number one I have heard in my trip. And don’t expect any magical answer. I work and use my money wisely. Sorry to disappoint you but the biggest trick about traveling long term is learning how to save and spending as less as possible in every major cost. I volunteer, I use couchsurfing, I hitchhike, I camp, I cook my food, but in the end of the equation you will always need a bit of money to pay visas, cover your entertainment and not starve on the road.
