Thank you to Steve and Dee for welcoming us aboard their Sabre 58, "Escape Velocity", and sharing a little bit about the life they've created on the water. Spending four to five months of the year aboard gives them the opportunity to truly settle into the cruising lifestyle, and it was wonderful hearing how much they've enjoyed making the 58 their home along the way. The wind disappeared. Which means… I’m now on full-time steering duty. The next 48 hours will basically be me glued to the helm, trying to keep us moving in the right direction all the way to Sint Maarten. Not exactly the most exciting part of the crossing. Just slow progress, small adjustments, and a lot of time behind the wheel. I’m also so tired at this point that I’ve started mixing the days together… I was fully convinced today was day 32. It’s day 33. That’s where we’re at 😅 Anyway, this is probably what the end of the crossing will look like.
