Home built Transit 38 sailing catamaran by Woods Designs in the Bahamas 2011 Overtaking a motoring Norseman 43 catamaran even with no one steering (our autopilot was broken). When we first saw the Norseman it was sailing to windward on the same course as we were. But we caught it up quickly and, as always, the slower boat started its engines and dropped sails. Just minutes into our journey, the first moored sailboat with people on it was a fellow Mark Twain Lake sailor I had met when we first started sailing Galactica. Fortunately, Matt recognized Galactica and called my name. He works at a boatyard on the Calumet and invited me to grab a dock space with electricity!!! It was perfect for us.
