RSHYR 2025 | Palm Beach XI sailed up the Derwent River just on sunset to take 5th place in Line Honours. A remarkable achievement given the little sailing time the crew had prior to the race and in light of abandoned fishing lines getting wrapped around their keel and dagger boards.

After an on-shore postponement due to high winds, the fleet set off shortly after 1.00pm in a brisk 20-25 knots. All divisions were on shortened courses and we caught ZEN smoking through Whitsunday Passage.

The material selected for our cushion covers didn't last that long all the material disintegrated into dust over the last 6 months ... hardy sat on.
