We have had so much fun with the RS21 this year. Come out for a demo and see for yourself how great this boat is. Day 3 of our Christmas calendar takes us to the aft cabin—our cozy retreat and one of the biggest reasons we chose a center cockpit boat! 🛥️ Here’s what makes this cabin so special: 🛌 A 160 cm wide bed that fits both of us (and our dog 🐶) comfortably. ⛽ We’re literally sleeping on top of 280 liters of diesel—don’t worry, it’s well-sealed! 😉 🌬️ The bed has slats underneath to prevent moisture buildup and keep our mattress fresh. 🔧 Beneath the bed, we house our hydraulic autopilot pump, though soundproofing is on our to-do list! For storage, we have 3 cabinets, perfect for clothes and gear—everything we need for life onboard. This cabin truly feels like home, offering comfort and functionality no matter where we sail. What do you think of our aft cabin? Any questions or tips for optimizing storage? Let us know in the comments! 💬 🎥 Join us tomorrow as we explore more of Vela! 🎵 Music by Sergio Prosvirini from Pixabay #YouTubeShorts #Explore #TravelVlog #Vloggers #DailyLife #ChristmasCalendar #Vlogmas #ChristmasOnBoard #Beneteau44cc #Sailing #Liveaboard #LifeAtSea

To find north using Cassiopeia, look high in the northern sky to locate the five bright stars that form a distinct "W" or "M" shape. Focus on the central peak of this shape, which acts like an arrow pointing out toward the open side of the constellation. Draw an imaginary line straight out from this central bend and extend it about five times the overall width of the constellation. This line will lead your eyes directly to Polaris, also known as the North Star. Since Polaris sits directly above the Earth's North Pole, facing this star means you are looking exactly due north. #stars #sailing #sailor #sailboat #space
