Yesterdayโs sail started off rough โ choppy waves and headwinds all the way to Bilbao. Luckily, we werenโt the only fools who thought it was a good day to go sailing ๐ With the mainsail up for balance and the engine doing most of the work, we powered through the swell. Eventually, things calmed down, and we found our groove again โ talking, napping - some napping more than others ๐คญ And thenโฆ we got a bite! ๐ Our first fish! ๐ Itโs been a pricey one, though โ Three lost lures and probably over 50 meters of line before we landed this beauty. Surely, they only get cheaper from hereโฆ right? Weโre pretty sure itโs a type of mackerel, judging by the pattern โ but what do you think? ๐๐ Let us know in the comments!
