Sailing the Bahamas, the sailboat kept trying to take me out. I'm still paying the price. π The boat, along with Captain Connor, slammed my thumbnail in a hatch and destroyed my thumb. We live in New Zealand and Cyclone Gabrielle formed just south of the Solomon Islands and tracked down the East Coast of New Zealand in February 2023. Whilst we were very fortunate to make it through this experience unharmed, Cyclone Gabrielle caused widespread devastation in our home town of Hawke's Bay and along the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
