Greece is looking like a very good idea this summer. With plenty of direct flights into Athens, and warm weather stretching long into the season, getting there feels refreshingly straightforward again. Once you arrive, the real magic begins. Island hopping under sail, swimming in clear turquoise bays, wandering whitewashed harbour towns and settling into the slower rhythm that Greece does so well. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed catamaran charter, a hands-on sailing yacht adventure, a private boat for friends and family, or an individual berth aboard a shared voyage, we’ve got a wide range of ways to explore the Greek islands from the water. Take a look at our Greece sailing holidays and find the voyage that feels right for you this summer.
The Anchor Hitch is a super secure knot which tightens on itself when load is applied. It is really simple to tie, all you need is two round turns. One over the top of the item you are securing your fender to and the second one on top of the first. The Anchor hitch will become really tight making it hard to undo after load has been applied, making it a great option if you want to lock your rope tight against a fixed object. The team at bottom up boats has lots of addition hitches to fix your rope to a fixed object you can check out several of this in our Fender Knot Playlist.
