Our Boat Restoration Experience Days are back!🛠️ Our last Boat Restoration Experience Day was such a success that we’ve decided to add not one, not two, but THREE more dates! 🎉 Come along to Pioneer Sailing Trust and spend a hands-on day learning from our highly experienced boat restorers. You’ll get the chance to try traditional boatbuilding and restoration skills, discover the techniques that help keep our historic boats sailing, and make a few things of your own to take home. 🔨 What will you try? • Steam bending oak • Roving • Dovetail joints • Caulking • Knots You’ll also make your own wooden phone holder and rope keyring to take home with you! 🎁 🍽️ A fish & chip lunch is included! 📅 Upcoming dates: • 17th October 2026 • 14th November 2026 • 13th February 2027 💷 £119 per person Participants must be 14 or over. No matter what we're doing around our catamaran, boat dog Rose always wants to be involved!! Today I was working on the exhaust mixer elbows of our marine diesel engines, with periodic visits from her to make sure I was alright and still there... that, or she was hinting she felt like going for a walk 😂 Having an Australian Shepherd on a boat isn't always easy, but her huge personality and sense of adventure make it worth having the #1 sailing dog aboard. 🐶 #boatdog #sailordog #dogsworld
