One of the great features of the 17' Salish Voyager is the ability to transition easily between sailing and rowing. In this short video, we demonstrate how to reef the lug sail to make room for rowing while keeping the sail raised. It's a simple, practical way to switch to oar power when the wind dies down—without having to lower the mast or sail. Sail when there's wind. Row when there isn't.
