The first Wednesday night race of Strangford Lough Yacht Club 2025 season got under way in perfect sailing conditions. With 8 to 10 knots of breeze and blue skies the sailing season could not have got off to a better start. As the sunset in the west two River class yachts were locked in a tight battle. As they glided under the setting sun on a picture perfect evening of racing finished with a sailing sunset. The team at bottom up boats an excited that the 2025 season is up and running. Siamo partiti! Si va avanti a bordo di Maserati Multi 70, sempre mura a destra, con la prua verso la alta pressione e il barometro in salita. Tra poco il vento inizierà a girare verso Est, a quel punto vireremo verso Sud-Sud-Est per cercare il vento che gira a Nord-Est e fare rotta su Gibilterra passando a Sud della alta pressione. Purtroppo il passaggio da Nord è bloccato, ci faremo una bella bolina!
