Alfred Mylne may have peaked when he designed the River Class over 100 years ago. The beautify old ladies of the lough make the Bottom Up Boats crew smile every time we glide by them on the race course. Her lines are timeless with her big boom holding out a main that powers her along in any conditions. We were nearing the end of a delivery, during the winter, from Palma to Croatia when we hit some rough weather... initially just a Force 9 it wasn't long before it was blowing 55kts (a F11) Good weather to be in a sturdy yacht! The E64 took it on the nose and we arrived with no damage but ready for a good nights rest and a decent meal :) Another yacht delivered to her happy owner! #takingabeating #roughweather #elegance64
