Letβs pause for a moment to enjoy this beautiful underwater show of #MantaRays in #RajaAmpat. Raja Ampat holds a distinguished position as a marine #biodiversity hotspot within the wider #CoralTriangle and Raja Ampat is home to two species of manta rays: the #reefmanta ray or #Manta alfredi and the #oceanicmantaray or #Mantabirostris. Both species are known for their distinctive appearance, with large, flat bodies, wide wingspans, and prominent cephalic lobes (or "horns") on their heads. Manta rays are known for their elegant and acrobatic swimming, often seen gliding through the water with effortless grace. Our dive buddies here are so fortunate to be able to enjoy and witness with their very eyes the Mantas gracefully dancing on the ocean floor. Every #dive into the #undersea universe, especially in places like Raja Ampat, unveils spectacular #marinespecies. πͺ’ Sunday Boat Tip [27/52] πͺ’ Thereβs so many horror stories out there with boats having to clean their diesel tanks in the worst imaginable situation after the engine stoped working at an even worse moment. We figured we play it safe and try to prevent it as much as we can after finding a piece of plastic that blocked the system causing our engine to stop outside of Anholt (just after we left Sweden). You can never be totally safe from diesel bugs, specially fueling up in remote places, but you can diminish the risks. Also make sure you protect yourself and the environment by avoiding spill! Only discharge of the residues in a designated place. Hope this will be of use for your boatlife too π«ΆπΌ Donβt forget to save this post and share it with a friend who needs to see this to get inspired to create their own adventure π«ΆπΌ
