Map of Global Surveyor’s incredible journey as she sailed from Scotland last October to Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores, and more. She returned to Largs after visiting numerous ports including Brest, the Isle of Man, and Lisbon. An eventful few months of exploration and adventure.

Navegamos haciendo bordos en ceñida, dando 45 grados la proa al viento de nuestro querido Aristos Tres, un Fortuna 9 que nos hace cumplir nuestros deseos. Al doblar la Punta Couso, que el la parte más septentrional de La Costa e la Vela, arribamos hasta dejar el viento 135 grados por la aleta de estribor. Luego de un par de trasluchadas, llegamos a nuestro destino: La Ría de Aldán. If you listen to the various discussions around the docks, you know that there is significant disparities among sailors concerning fixed docks and floating docks. For Toni and I, nothing beats a floating dock and we think most catamaran sailors would agree. Fixed docks required line adjustments, fender movements, and simply getting on and off the boat safely depends on the tides. However, a floating docks are a set it, and forget it.
