The new Quarken 35 Cabin has completed its journey from sketchpad to sea-trials! Extensive sea-trials have been taking place in Finland’s winter landscape over the last few weeks. The 35 Cabin has been pushed to the limits in the harsh December weather to feel and test all the driving characteristics and performance. Confident, dynamic, and thrilling to drive! Sailing a beautiful high-altitude (8,601 ft elevation) Colorado mountain lake in my 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were pretty heavy, so I double-reefed the mainsail.
