When in town one must always visit the local watering holes. 🍻 Of course we had to visit Green TurtleTavern, but we noticed there was a new place across from it that wasn’t here last time we were here. We stopped at Hofbrau Amelia, an authentic German style biergarten. We got a couple mugs of hefeweizen and giant pretzel that totally spoiled our dinner but was so worth it! 🥨 . Today we’re celebrating 1 year ‘Leading the Escapade’ 🥳 ⛵️ 🗺 It was 1 year ago that our boat was being lifted into the water and we we’re absolutely sh*tting ourselves, not even knowing how to start the motor We’ve come a LONG way since that day, it’s been a whirlwind of a year…a new lifestyle, new career and new outlook on life 😍 So many up’s and downs, lessons and milestones, the best decision we ever made and even though there’s always pro’s and con’s we wouldn’t change any of it for the world 🌍 We’ve made some great new friends and received so much generous support from our Patron’s and kind comments from our YouTube community We’ve travelled over 2500 nautical miles the past year through 5 countries and Sailed all of winter bar 1 month ✅ follow our voyage around the world

In 2022 we introduced our Spearfishing trips. 15 keen spearos, 5 experienced crew and guides, a videographer and whole lotta ocean for 5 days of epic spearfishing at the outer GBR. Targeting species such as: Coral Trout; Tusk Fish; A variety of Emperors: -Spangled; -Red; -Grassy; -Yellow Lip; and -Red Throat. Reef Jack Purple Spot Cod Mu Fish Job Fish Crayfish Trevally Spanish mackerel. It's the only spearfishing charter in the Whitsundays and it's about as good as it gets.
