This running surface is specifically engineered for a flatter plane and reduced drag, which we validated during our sea trials. Powered by twin Mercury Verado outboards, the 38 VTR reached a top speed of 44.2 mph and maintained a steady 24.1 mph cruise at 4000 RPM. Meet Kate, one of our crew members here at Sail San Diego! Kate has been on our crew for almost a year now & is one of the friendly faces you’ll meet upon arrival at our sailing lounge & retail shop before setting sail. Kate is a mom of three, 2 of which were twins born on Halloween! 🎃 🎃 She’s an incredible addition to our crew and loves any chance she's able to hop on board a sail. ⛵️ When asked what her favorite thing about sailing is? Her response: Feeling the warmth of the sun 🌞 and just being able to disconnect for 3 hours while out on the water. 🌊🌊
