Sometimes when you raise the sails, the battens get hung up on the lazy jacks. Sometimes they free themselves, sometimes, and you can drop the sail and try again. But sometimes, they have to be wiggled free manually, which is what Brent just did. Once they are free and clear of the lazy jack lines, we raise the sail again and the wind is now carrying our floating home to another island! Want the full adventure? A big pink kite gliding by shortly after the finish of the final race at Cork Week 2024. Shame that we can not share the boat name and make with you as we could not see any number to identify the boat. The trim looks great as the glide by to windward shortly before hitting the finish line. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you enjoy our continued look back on the racing acting from the 2024 session. Boat work is underway to get the boat ready for the 2025 season. Can't wait to get the boat in the water for another season of action on the water.
