If your vessel is traveling in a straight line and the angle to another vessel relative to your vessel is not changing then you have an issue. You can also use a compass. A host of Olympic medals have been secured on day six of the Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition giving Croatia their first ever sailing medal.
