Questa manovra è cruciale per sfruttare al meglio la potenza del vento e mantenere il controllo dell’imbarcazione. * Quando si va all’orza, l’obiettivo è di raggiungere l’angolo più stretto possibile con il vento, ottenendo la massima velocità senza perdere stabilità. È una sfida che mette alla prova le abilità del velista, richiedendo una grande sensibilità e una comprensione profonda del comportamento della barca e delle condizioni meteorologiche. * Questa manovra non solo è essenziale nelle regate, dove ogni grado conta, ma è anche un’abilità preziosa nelle navigazioni quotidiane. Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it!
