POSITIONING YOUR YACHT Watch as Nick, sets the yacht up in position with lazy lines. =========================== Watch the full training video here - https://youtu.be/-OPs960oR88 =========================== Transcript Always have your boat hook ready and logged off in full extension. Voila And if you've got another person here or you know this might be people that are learning to dock on their own as such or with their crew it's really good to give that person the um other other hook just to put down. Now just have a look here see I've come up with a cross lazy line don't worry about this okay. Just grab the other side and keep going. If you get worried about your lines which one they're giving you, you lose the time and the boat will swing away. See why I took my jacket off. Okay so this will pull my bow over a bit. Again I'm not going to worry hugely about getting these super tight I'm just going to get them on and secure and I'll set the position of the boat later. =========================== Looking to sail in Croatia? EW, BROTHER EWWW! So let’s talk about something that happens more often than you'd think—getting messages from guys who want to *move in* to my tiny 29ft sailboat. Yep, you heard that right. My *one-bedroom* sailboat. I get it, life at sea is appealing, but can we all agree that inviting yourself to move into someone else's floating shoebox is... a bit much? 😂 I thought the trending TikTok sound "ew, brother, ew” fits perfectly (even though I’m a bit late to this trend). Honestly, that's exactly how I feel when these requests pop up in my DMs or comment section. Trust me, it's a no from me, but thanks for the offer! I know many people are joking, but others seem a bit more serious, so I just wanted to make something clear: My videos are not an open invite into my privacy. While I love sharing my sailing adventures and lifestyle with y’all, this little boat is my home, and there’s no room for uninvited guests. So please, let’s keep it light and fun - ask me anything about this lifestyle and how you can get started yourself, but no moving in requests, okay? 😅 Cheers guys, Kristina
