Built locally in Sidney, this Yar 26 is simply “wow” when you step onboard this piece of nautical history that was described as the “boat of tomorrow” by their designer. Every bit of this boat has received meticulous attention to detail by extremely knowledgeable owners that have lovingly re-finished “Gryphon” during their years of ownership. This mighty little ship is built to cruise comfortably off-the grid throughout the PNW, supported by tanks that carry 50USG of fuel and 75 USG of water with the added bonus of a solar panel to keep the 4 x House batteries fully charged. Finished in custom oak, this vessel was repowered with a Beta diesel engine that only has 525 hours and provides a comfortable cruising speed of 6-7 knots with exceptional fuel efficiency. Electric windlass, auto-helm, large fridge, hot water, dinghy and a 2.5hp Suzuki outboard are all part of the package. Available with assumable moorage at our Sidney location, this vessel is available to view by appointment. Please contact our Vancouver Island Sales Office to schedule a showing.
