► Established in 1973, this international in-water boat show is one of the top 5 nautical events in France, with some 800 brands present, 700 boats in the water or on the waterfront, and 80,000 visitors expected to attend. Although the weather was terrible for the first part of the day that the show opened, the sun soon returned... and so did the smiles! Juan Carlos from Multitech is back aboard my 1998 Island Packet 320 finishing the hookup on my new Yanmar 3YM30AE. We’re getting closer, but we’ve run into a classic boat-project problem: the throttle cable base isn’t working with the existing cables and the new engine setup, so this is one of several things that need to be modified.
