We've had a last minute cancellation for the Lemsteraak trip in Holland in June. It's for the bunk cabin with 2 berths. Let us know if you can come along. These weeks are a fantastic introduction to European canal cruising as well as exploring the lovely Frisian Islands. Your cabin awaits! Join us for a week of sailing aboard a traditional Dutch "Lemsteraak" to explore the shallow seas of the Frisian Islands and travel inland via the Dutch Canals. Depending on whether we will be able to visit 3 or 4 of the lovely Frisian Islands. In this area it's important to take tides and currents into consideration so we will go over tidal calculations and methods.
Can a yacht look straight out of the 1930s and still sail like a modern performance cruiser? SPIRIT YACHTS Spirit 63DH © SPIRIT YACHTS Length: 63 ft (19.2 m) Beam: 13.8 ft (4.2 m) Draft: 9.2 ft (2.8 m) Displacement: 19.2 tons Top Speed (under sail): 10+ knots Price: approx. US\$ 2.9 Million With its sweeping mahogany curves and long overhangs, the Spirit 63DH (Deckhouse) captures vintage yacht aesthetics but hides modern sailing muscle underneath. Built entirely in wood using epoxy composite methods, it's lightweight and extremely rigid—ready for offshore passages or fast weekend races. The raised deckhouse design creates a bright saloon with panoramic views, while the layout includes a full-beam owner's suite aft, two guest cabins, and a central galley. Every inch is crafted by hand, from the varnished joinery to the teak decking. Behind its throwback charm is a yacht made for serious sailing, combining timeless design with real bluewater capability. #SpiritYachts #ClassicYachtStyle #BluewaterSailing #HarbourMasters
