Dolphin Encounters: A Sailing Adventure in Croatia Croatia, with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastline, is a sailor’s paradise. But it’s not just the stunning views that make sailing here unforgettable; it’s the chance to witness one of nature’s most enchanting spectacles – dolphins swimming alongside your boat. The Dolphin’s Domain Dolphins are known to frequent the Croatian coast, particularly in the Adriatic Sea. These intelligent and playful creatures are often spotted near popular sailing destinations such as the islands of Hvar, Korcula, and Mljet. Their presence is a testament to the rich marine biodiversity that thrives in these waters. Sailing with Dolphins Sailing with dolphins is an experience that combines relaxation with excitement. As you glide through the gentle waves, keep an eye out for these graceful mammals. They may approach your boat curiously, leaping and diving in the water around you. It’s a magical moment that connects you with the natural world in a profound way. Tips for Dolphin Watching Stay Quiet: Dolphins are sensitive to noise, so keep conversations low and avoid loud music. Maintain Distance: Respect their space by keeping a safe distance. Never chase or attempt to touch them. Be Patient: Dolphins may not appear immediately. Patience is key to enjoying this natural encounter. Conservation Efforts Croatia has taken steps to protect its marine life, including dolphins. By supporting eco-friendly sailing practices and respecting wildlife regulations, we can ensure that future generations will also have the opportunity to enjoy these incredible encounters. Conclusion Sailing in Croatia offers more than just a journey across the sea; it’s an opportunity to connect with nature and witness the beauty of dolphins in their natural habitat. So next time you set sail, keep your eyes peeled – you might just have a dolphin companion on your voyage!

We spotted this whale a few miles off the East coast of the Isle of Arran in the Firth of Clyde in Scotland. There hasn't been a sighting of a humpback whale in the Clyde for 8 years. The sighting has been registered and has now been given the ID# SCUK106. It was spotted a few days later further up north in Loch Long and has since made its way up the west coast, past the small Isles. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...
