Ahoy! Sailing bliss or disaster? We're leaving the Eagle Point marinara a raw sail downwind to our marina in Lake Dallas. Cyndi and I have come this far to try our hand at a downwind wing-on-wing sail plan, after an easterly beam reach, then a westward sail. We had a great time practicing the training run and the down-wind sail setup. We leave our old friend, Sneaky Pete's Grill, and Eagle Point Marina behind and press forward, sailing back to Lake Dallas in our Catalina C-30 Tall Rig sailboat named Zanadu! We tried out the ferry service from the Isle of Kererra to Oban. There is a booking system so you know exactly when you will travel which we lovec. Its great value for money and made exploring Oban very easy and stress free. In addition its great if you need supplies from the big Tesco. We would recommend!
