The Whiskey Plank is the final plank required to complete the outer shell of a wooden hull. With this major milestone, it is traditional to take a brief moment to celebrate the mounting of the whiskey plank with a celebration involving shots of whiskey all around... so that’s what we did as we installed the last plank on Hull 1 of the of the LM46! This is our third cold-molded hull in as many years and we’re really enjoying tying tradition together with our modern approach to yacht construction. 🎥: @mackenzie_lyman

We're perfecting the modular construction method in custom boat building, which allows us to more efficiently and accurately construct our custom vessels. The 57' Flybridge Express Motoryacht in this video is a cooperative effort between C.W. Hood Yachts and Lyman-Morse, and is scheduled for a Spring 2020 launch.
