Travel nurses show up in Loreto to learn to mermaid. It's a lot harder then it looks! The mermaid tails were designed for kids, and half the time their feet would fall out of the small fin pocket, creating a houdini drowning escape situation! It's not easy swimming without a mask, it took some practice to look natural underwater while having no idea what you're looking at! Abby was fantastic crew on Volare, the sailboat visible in the distance. The sail from George Town to Black Point was awesome. The last hour, a squall came through shifting the wind around to the nose. We had purposely gone this far, missing Staniel Cay, so that we'd hit cut on a flood and not have to burn a bunch of fuel with an ebb tide. I would suspect this cut would be pretty challenging hitting it on an ebb with opposing wind. It was pretty calm outside the cut, but the waves really turned up inside the cut (on the Bahamas Bank Side)
