After a month apart, post our First meet and Fiji adventure, Cody flew to Norway to visit me. I had just bought my 32 ft sailboat that I was living on. Cody, being used to fishing, diving, reading the water and the weather, picked up sailing really quickly- but with that said, THIS was actually his first time EVER sailing a sailboat! #May6-2018 #shorts

Have you ever wondered how and why we apply the flecks of colour you see on our floor? On traditional flowcoat floors, fleck provides much needed grip to what would be an otherwise slippery surface. On our modern moulded floors, the grip is provided by our 'non-skid' pattern and the fleck is just there for it's good looks! It is the first thing we apply to the mould. Each colour is carefully sprinkled with a spray gun to ensure an even application before the next solid binding layer of gelcoat and in this case the customer's choice of Storm Grey. On the way upwind to the second mark of the annual Quoile Yacht Club Regatta a couple of the Glenn fleet were locked in close battle. The J109 Going to Red slipped by both of then to leeward with the rear camera picking up a close tussle between the Glen's. We have a lot to thank Alfred Mylne for and are luck to have so many of the Glen class which were designed and built in the 1940's on the lough and racing regularly. The bottom up boats crew always have a smile on their faces when we glide by some of these timeless beauties.
