The crew on J109 Going to Red had some close tussles with J109 Ctrl-J during Cork Week 2024. For the most part Going to Red was faster upwind with Ctrl-J making up ground on the runs. GTR was doing all it could to slip down to leeward to stay in front of the fast charging blue spinnaker. Sailing the Bahamas, the sailboat kept trying to take me out. I'm still paying the price. 😂 The boat, along with Captain Connor, slammed my thumbnail in a hatch and destroyed my thumb. It's been three weeks, and the nail just won't go. So I'm gonna try remove it myself. Think I can do it? Ripping my thumbnail off was harder than I thought... #thumbnail #sailing #bahamas
