My first sail with my new custom sails from PointSails. Main and 100% working jib are made of 6oz Dacron. The main has 2 reefing points and a full top batten. The jib has very nice stainless steel hanks.

Preparation de Vif d'Or pour la saison 2023. Ici jour 1, sortie de l'eau du port de plaisance du Grand Large à Dunkerque Haut de France. Nettoyage de la coque et du pont au jet haute pression. Vidange du sail drive. Et pose sur ber. Ceci réalisé par les équipes de USHIP Bleu Marine de Dunkerque. Le voilier est un A35. Nous l'utilisation pour de la navigation encadrée en école de voile, stage de voile, sortie entreprise team building, sortie famille ou entre amis, anniversaire, session navigation récréative, enterrement de vie de garçons ou de jeunes filles....Vif d'Or est en navigation un voilier qui procure énormément de plaisir. Our apprentices at The Pioneer Sailing Trust work on commercial projects, building Harker's Yard rowing gigs. The first 19 gigs were built from a cold-moulded construction, using three layers of mahogany. These wooden coastal rowing gigs are based on an East Coast design, specifically adapted for racing. They are slightly shorter (24ft) than traditional Cornish gigs and are rowed by a crew of four, plus a coxswain. These gigs are a key part of the coastal rowing scene in the East of England, with the Harker's Yard Gig Association (HYGA) organising a popular winter racing series. The current gigs are a composite version of the East Coast gig with the same specification, but instead of cold-mouldered, the hull is made from fibreglass with a wooden fitout and built-in buoyancy.
