Ossero è un insediamento antichissimo, le sue origini risalgono alla preistoria (Liburni), per poi essere colonizzata dai greci, romani ed infine dai veneziani. Siamo stati nel marina di Ossero gestito dal proprietario del ristorante "Adria", dove lavora una carissima amica Jole (cuoca) e Paolo (alla griglia), che ci hanno accolti calorosamente. Un grazie di cuore alla Jole e Paolo. Poi, levati gli ormeggi, siamo partiti alla volta di Cherso attraverso il famoso ponte mobile. Ossero 21-22/08/23 PS. La voce che si sente nel sottofondo è della Jole . A Cherso ci attende il mitico Marino, oramai Sindaco onorario della città.

A New Top Speed for the SP80 team trying to beat the World Sailing Speed Record! What was it? Watch the reel to find out. ▫️ Join the quest at @sp80record ▫️ "The foil is key to breaking the record" - explains Benoît Gaudiot, COO and SP80 kite pilot. “We wanted to quickly test a simplified version on the water and learn as much as possible before finalizing the design of the record foil, which is more complex and costly to produce."  ▫️ "Now that we have data from the boat at high speeds, we can refine our simulations and launch the production of the final foil with much more information than we had a few months ago!” ▫️ The boat will return to the shipyard in September to improve safety systems around the pilots and integrate the new foil. The initial goal is to break the 55-knot barrier (100 km/h) between October and December. ▫️ The team aims to make an first official record attempt before the summer of 2025. ▫️ #world #sailing #speed #record

We’ve been quite impressed with the boat speeds we’ve been able to achieve so far, with minimal to zero fine tuning. On our first outing we had 9.3 knots from 12-13 knots of true wind, on a close reach. Today it was almost six knots from less than 9 knots of true wind, reaching. Keep in mind that it’s a heavy cruiser, not a racer. :-)

On n’est clairement pas tous égaux face au mal de mer ! Certains peuvent affronter des vagues pendant des heures sans rien ressentir… et d’autres commencent à avoir l’estomac qui se retourne dès que le bateau se met à tanguer. Chez nous, c’est assez simple : moi, je l’ai souvent, alors que Fabien ne l’a pratiquement jamais. Même quand le bateau se fait bien secouer par les vagues, lui reste imperturbable ! Et toi, tu te situes où sur l’échelle du mal de mer ? 🌱 Immunisé(e) comme Fabien ? 😬 Sensible comme moi ? 🤢 Ou déjà malade rien qu’en regardant cette vidéo ?
