A few years ago we got to spend a wonderful week in Greece sailing around the Mediterranean with Med Sailors. One of our days was a water sports day. Who could so "No" to parasailing in Greece?

After a month in Key West, we finally thought we had a 48 hour crossing window to make it to Morgans Bluff. We were wrong...or rather, the forecasts continuously changed -- for the worse. Not unsafe, but just VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. This was not the Gulf Stream Crossing we had last year.

Finding the best place to anchor when you have the whole bay to yourselves. Sometimes it's more difficult than you imagine to find the best place to anchor when you have the whole bay to yourselves...might as well have a proper, good look round before choosing! This is Phang Nga bay in Thailand, next to James Bond Island. ****************************** Be one of the good guys: https://www.patreon.com/followtheboat Be the first to know: http://eepurl.com/B9Ykn Subscribe to our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=spannerheadz Blog: http://www.followtheboat.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/followtheboat Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/followtheboat ****************************** Music by Kevin MacLeod ( 'Baltic Levity') http://www.incompetech.com

Watch team GTR as they take on a boat restoration project ,stripping down and then rebuilding a 1990's fibreglass Mumm 36. Every fitting, wire and even the engine we was removed and refreshed before being refitted from the Bottom UP. The restoration project took around 18 months with the crew working the weekends to restore the boat to her former glory. Learn how we tackled a wide range of boat maintenance tasks and learnt a few restoration techniques. Jabberwocky is one of the original Mumm 36 yacht which race on the Med circuit. While I know it is consider bad luck to change a boat name Jabberwocky was not her original name. With that in mind and considering all the repair work we did if felt like she deserved a new name. GTR stand for Go to Red, I will leave telling the story behind that for another day. This boat restoration project was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done, if you get the chance to do some thing like this your self I would tell you to go for it.
