Det känns alltid lite speciellt fÃļrsta dygnet av en lÃĨngsegling. Vi har nu pÃĨbÃļrjat seglingen Ãļver Karibiska havet, ca 1200sjÃļmil som vi tror tar ca 8dagar. FÃļrsta biten är ren västerut och ser ut att bli 12-16m/s i vind. Sista sträckan, när vi passerat ABC Ãļarna och seglar mer sÃļderut längs med Colombias kust ser ut att bli den tuffaste biten. Det brukar ofta blÃĨsa hÃĨrdare här pÃĨ grund av accelarationszoner och det faktum att vi även behÃļver skära av sÃļderut mot Panama och eventuellt fÃĨ vÃĨgorna mer i sidan pÃĨverkar ocksÃĨ hur bekväm seglingen blir. Men det ska nog gÃĨ bra det här med. Vi har medstrÃļms och vÃĨgorna är inte mer än 1m hÃļga just nu. Jag planerar att gÃļra dagliga uppdateringar frÃĨn havet även pÃĨ denna lÃĨngsegling. In this episode we sail, we motor sail and we get stuck with our anchor wrapped up in an old net in the harbour at Tanjung Siwa. Donât worry, weâll show you a very quick and easy way to untangle a fouled anchor. After sailing in Greece we have plenty of experience. Then we motor sail again and, finally, we reach our northern destination of Palopo. Weâre sailing with friends Daniel and Emma on our buddy boat Lola B in an area of the huge Indonesian Island of Sulawesi very rarely visited by cruising boats.
